Allen Hale: A Member’s Story

Mr. Hale became a member of AbsoluteCare’s Prince George’s County location just about the moment it opened in 2017. Serious complications from bariatric surgery led to some unnecessary hospitalizations that Mr. Hale’s PCP, Dr. Patricia Czapp, describes as “clinical misadventures.” Though his complications were under some control at the time, AbsoluteCare and Dr. Czapp’s team helped prevent these acute conditions from becoming chronic. “The doctor gives you a sense that she actually cares about your healthcare, not just ‘OK, I see you,’ sign off, and send you on your way.”
